Hello I'm Aki!
I’m a Sydney-based illustrator & animator with a passion for all things weird, wild and whimsical~
I have the pleasure of dancing the line of illustration and animation, with a deep passion for learning and getting my hands on as many ways to animate as possible. From all this experimenting, I graduated from the University of Technology Sydney as a hybrid major and recipient of the Lawrie Fitzgerald Prize in 2022.
My work ranges from striking graphic illustrations to softly lit afternoons yearning for childhood in suburbia.
In my free time I’m usually kicking around the bush spray-painting designs from my latest film or music fix. I’ve always loved finding beauty in bizarre places, so it comes as no surprise that my favorite stories to tell involve crafting playfully engaging visuals to invite a new perspective of the unusual or mundane.

I have showcased work as part of Sydney Fringe Festival and Loop de Loop, As well as directed and animated award-winning short films whilst at university, including debut film "On Shift" and public space installation "Shadowplay".
I've worked with numerous clients on a variety of projects including short films, documentaries, and music videos. I'm currently based at Cheekylittle Media as an Unreal Technical Artist
